Velo Coffee Roasters pouring coffee into their branded mugs.

Velo Coffee Roasters is one of our favorite wedding caterers. Velo has indoor and outdoor seating, but the space is pretty limited, so it might be difficult to find a spot if it’s busy. This is the perfect place for those who love espresso and cold brew, and also for those who want to enjoy occasional coffee treats like an affogato made with sweet cream or dairy-free chocolate ice cream. In the morning, you can also find a limited assortment of baked goods from Bread and Butter, a Chattanooga bakery, and bags of Velo's coffee beans are available for purchase. Finally, they have a store stocked with all essential, and specialty, coffee supplies anyone needs to be a master home barista. The staff are professional (and extremely knowledgable), and the coffee is arguably the best in the city.

An OG for Chattanooga Coffee, with the owner opening their first coffee shop in downtown Chattanooga in 1996, Goodman’s Coffee Roasters is a favorite on this list. They’re located in a historic building which makes for a super warm and inviting atmosphere. Goodman Coffee believes in honoring every part of the coffee story, from the land and farmers to the roasting and serving. Outside picture of Rembrandt's Coffee in the bluff district of Chattanooga, TN.

This quaint coffee house is a unique Euro-style dining spot you'll want to become a regular at. They offer an amazing selection of treats including cookies, brownies, danishes, pastries, breakfast items, and sandwiches. The coffee is great and the atmosphere is very European, making it a super comfortable place to hang out. Seating inside is limited, but they have a beautiful little courtyard covered in wisteria and planters, giving it a French or Italian feel. While it can get hectic with the coffee shop-style ordering, the food is excellent and the line moves quickly. If you have any coffee left, take a stroll down to the sculpture garden that overlooks the river area. With a couple of 30-minute parking spots, on-street parking, and a small parking lot, it's easy to seek out this neat spot in the area.
