10. St Elizabeth

St Elizabeth is a band from Chattanooga, Tennessee that was formed in late 1979. They are well-known in the Southeast for their interpretations of 80s rock music, as well as their own original material. In 1984, Billy Joe Royal hired st Elizabeth as his backing band and they played at several venues in the Chattanooga area, including Paul Gray's Playmate. The stint at Paul Gray's Playmate lasted for 23 months and was one of the longest engagements the band has ever had.


11. The Bel Aires

The Bel Aires is a sixties show band specializing in an era's sounds. The group is very versatile, with excellent vocals and music interpretation. They also have a horn section that exemplifies the period music.

In 1966, a few musicians in North Georgia formed the Inmates group. They performed several concerts at West Georgia College, Berry College, and the Suwanee Military Academy and performed public concerts in Chattanooga, Tennessee, at the Reid House from 1966 to 1971. They are very talented in singing and playing instruments, but also great at imitating sounds which makes them an excellent show band.
